Hello everyone!

I have been meaning to post this card that I made like a month ago but it has been super busy of here! I have three children in school (at two different schools! 1 in junior high and 2 in elementary) and one child at home with me....all day!! So it has been busy with all the homework, the birthday parties, and the holidays coming up. And tons of laundry! Seriously I need a little vacation. My birthday is in January so hopefully my husband picks up these hints. 

I have not made any holiday cards....yet. But I have been making some cards that I need for birthdays or just friends..etc. It was hard to take pics of this card because it was windy and I tried to get the detail of the golden words because I used that transfer-on foil.

Pink LOVE Card

Pink Love Card
Hello!

Here is a pink themed card I made for Valentine's Day but didn't post until now. Haha! This card is normally how I decorate my cards so it was nothing new and not hard to do at all! I love rhinestone ribbon, tulle, and flowers! The only thing I was really missing was...glitter!

On a side note: my son's 12th birthday is coming up and I have trouble making "male" cards. Does anyone have any suggestions or inspiration for some cards for him? He loves to read and he is a fan of goosebumps.

So any suggestions would be great!

• 4x6 blank ivory card
• glitter spec tulle
• metallic embossed paper
• "love" sticker
• rhinestone ribbon
• plastic leaves
• silk leaves
• mulberry paper flowers
• black marker (to trace the edges of the card)
• glue gun, glue stickers, scissors, ruler

Hello all!

I am a little behind on showing the rest of my holiday cards set for Christmas, however I actually kept this one. It's nothing spectacular but I will save it for next year! I basically just decorated a colored card.

White Beauty Card

White Beauty Card

Hello! Here is an example of a tall card full of paper flowers, leaves, and faux pearls. I used a different method this time when decorating my leaves and flowers. I bought a new punch that punches out leaf vines. Unfortunately, it was quite expensive for the large size, but it works and I like the outcome. I made this card larger than my others and I decided to choose colors opposite of each other. The cardstock itself is a light turquoise green color and I used purple tone flowers. Take a look below and tell me what you think. I named this card White Beauty simply because of the color of the Beauty die-cut. :)

 

 

Materials

• 7.5in x 4.5in cardstock paper (fold in half)
• Solid colored paper and texture pattern paper
• Faux pearls (large to small)
• Mulberry paper flowers
• Mulberry paper leaves
• Paper leaf vines
• Beauty die-cut

Sunshine Sunshine Card

Sunshine Card

Here is an example of a "farmstyle" card. I'm allowed to say that since I live on a farm! :) However, I actually only have three little fat goats and two dogs...so it's farmland without actual livestock! This card was definitely out of my comfort zone because I used scrap pieces of krafting cardstock paper, left over pieces of ribbon, and so extra sticker letters. Basically, I used left over scrap pieces from previous projects. I used the scrap kraft cardstock and weaved the pieces.

• yellow ribbon

Flowerly Gift Tag

Gift Tag with lots of flowers

I decided to add a post about a gift tag a created some time ago. The pictures came out great so I wanted to share them!

 

 

This gift tag is quite busy with lots of flowers but I think it came out quite nice! Except for the bottom portion I tried painting over a small little mess, but not a big deal!
