Here is an example of a "farmstyle" card. I'm allowed to say that since I live on a farm! :) However, I actually only have three little fat goats and two dogs...so it's farmland without actual livestock! This card was definitely out of my comfort zone because I used scrap pieces of krafting cardstock paper, left over pieces of ribbon, and so extra sticker letters. Basically, I used left over scrap pieces from previous projects. I used the scrap kraft cardstock and weaved the pieces.
Materials
- 4in x 6in ivory cardstock
- kraft cardstock
- white capital sticker letters
- yellow ribbon
- mulberry paper flowers and leaves

Using up scrap pieces can be so much fun and quite satisfying and it is amazing what you can make - like this lovely card .....and, of course, it is very original.

Thank you, Dionne! I try not to throw away scrap pieces because they can be handy in some way. Sometimes, I save little things over the years and when I re-discover them I think it is so cool how materials change over time.
