Just For You Card

Here is a Just For You card embellished with die-cuts, paper flowers and leaves, metal corners and letter stickers. Of course, you can put any words or names you desire on a card. Fortunately, I had some left over letter stickers and just enough to spell out the words Just For You.

 

 

I usually purchase all my items from Wild Orchid Crafts, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels, but I would like to find some new stores to explore. Any advice or ideas on some new places to seek out?

I am totally obsessed with Wild Orchid Crafts for their mulberry paper flowers, but it takes about 15 days from shipping because I live in the United States. So, the excitement is definitely lost from the moment I click "order" because I know I have to wait so long. :(

LOVE Card

LOVE Card

Today I would like to show you a beautiful Love Card. I did not want to add any heart embellishments so I decided to use sticker letters that are absolutely awesome. I purchased those from Michaels. I took photos of this card right after a beautiful rainy day and the colors of the card just looked stunning. This may not be the most gorgeous card you have seen, but the colors of the trees, grass, and flowers just enhanced the colors of the card and it looks wonderful!

• 5.5in x 4.25in card by The Paper Studio "Tattered and Worn: Box of Cards"
• Cardstock by The Paper Studio "Sophia Grace"
• Alphabet stickers - red
• Designer border
• Mulberry paper flowers and leaves by Wild Orchid Crafts

Golden Hugs Set

I previously posted an example of a card and envelope set called Golden Hugs, since it included the die-cut word Hugs. I added golden metallic paper on the plain ivory cardstock and decorated the card and envelope with mulberry paper flowers and leaves. Thank You Card Decorated Hallmark Card

Thank You Card

Today I would like to show you an example of a decorated card. I had a few miscellaneous cards that my grandma had given me and I found some pretty light purple glittery Thank You cards by Hallmark. They are quite gorgeous without any embellishments, but I always like to add a little extra more. Look below for the results!

 

 

Materials

• Thank you card 4in x 5.5in by Hallmark
• Mulberry paper flowers - Magnolias and rosebuds from Wild Orchid Crafts
• Mulberry paper leaves - from Wild Orchid Crafts
• Silk leaves - from Michaels
• Glue gun, glue, ruler

 

 

I forgot to add a picture of the card before I decorated it, but as you can see in this photo above, that the card is light purple and has a beautiful white pattern covered in glitter.

Here is an example of a busy Thank You Card. Once again, this is a card where I did not prearrange the flowers, embellishments, or lace. The result actually came out nice!

• Pink beads (I am unsure exactly what kind they are...found these)
