Love Heart Card

Love Heart Card
For today, I made a Love Card that features a chipwood die-cut that spells out the word love with a heart for the letter o. So, I tried two different strategies this time. 1- I tried to use opposite colors with the cardstock and 2- I tried to add lace to tie the card together with a bow. My results: The colors did not necessarily clash, but I ended up using more black and pink than blue. I wanted to use blue and pink but ended up going a different route. I had seen an awesome example of pink flowers on a blue card, but obviously this did not happen. And, I cut the lace too short and used a wide lace in which I could not tie the bow at all. This was my first attempt at adding lace for the purpose of closing up the card.

  4. Isn't it great to try new things? I think it is important to experiment and grow. The lace looks lovely and softens the design, I really like the way you have added the rhinestones and how you have extended the design inside the card.

I am really liking your word die cuts, they make a great focal point. I think I need to get some of these.
