Here is a gift tag for my Niece. There are tons of birthdays in August in my family, so hopefully I can keep up! No material list added this time. Just TONS of pictures. I love the vibrant colors!! I was more interested in awesome photos this time!

 

 

 I wish there was a way to put two photos next to each other. Sometimes my photos are small enough where two could fit in a column. Any suggestions? Otherwise, you have to scroll down down down to see all my pictures! Please continue to scroll down haha :)

Hello all!

 

All those who see my work occasionally know that I always make a mistake or two but I end up loving those mistakes. For this card, I used the wrong glue on some of my flowers and when I added glitter, the glitter clumped up into balls. So once the flowers dried, I added some all purpose glue and just poured the glitter on! Take a look below.

 

 

Materials

• 5.5in x 4.25in pattern card
• white & silver embossed paper
• blue bling lace
• mulberry paper flowers
• mulberry paper leaves
• metallic lace
• square bling lace
• glue gun, glue sticks, tacky glue, all-purpose glue, ruler

Best Friend Card

Here is my last example of using the heat embossing technique (for now). Once I make the perfect card using this example I will definitely share! There was a bit residue left over but I still heated the embossing powder anyway. This is such an easy technique, but I might not have the best patience for this.

Best Day Ever Card

Best Day Ever

For the next four posts, I will be showing a few examples of my attempt to using the heat embossing technique. I have been practicing on different types of paper and the pens and ink chosen does matter! I tried using the watermark pen and it dries quite fast in my case. I bought a Ranger Ink pen and it seems to work better. Of course, I try writing fast before it dries so my cursive does not look stunning, but I tried. Practice and a good little example for those who haven't tried this.

 

 

Materials

• 5.5in x 4.25in texture card
• Embossing ink, glitter, and heating gun
• String of bling - 2 rows
• Faux pearls
• Mulberry paper flowers
• Mulberry paper leaves
• Clear mini beads
