Here is an example using tulle. It comes it different colors, texture, and glitter! I have moved on from different techniques and now trying different things with tulle. It's so fun to use.
Just a quick warning: I like to use the hot glue gun for everything, so when it comes to gluing tulle - be careful. The heat and glue can melt right through it. I always burn myself once or twice no matter how careful I am.

DeleteAh, the curse of the crafter. What is that expression 'Always the bridesmaid, never the bride' - always the the one to send the cards, never on the receiving end.
DeleteWhat a joy it would be to receive a card like this, it is so VERY beautiful, the tulle is gorgeous and I love the flowers and gems.
